Christine Vallieres

Christine Vallieres  is a contemporary artist who resides in Scottsdale, Arizona. She has spent the last twelve years working as a tattoo artist. While refining the skills of her profession, she came to a deeper understand of the importance of tradition in art and design. The realization pushed her to attend The Academy at Scottsdale Artist School where she was educated in classical drawing and painting. From there, Vallieres  learned the practice of traditional oil painting of the Italian and French schools.

She has over twenty-five years of education and practice of multiple artist mediums. Her life experience, years as a tattooer and classical painting technique have brought her to the work she makes today.
